From September 16 to 17, the university organized over 150 teacher and student representatives to go to Shenzhen Sports Center Gymnasium to watch the2025 Li-Ning China Badminton Masters,experiencing the charm of top competition up close. As a BWF Tour Super 750 level event, this competition attracted over 200 top players from 17 countries and regions, with Olympic champions and World Championship winners gathering in Pengcheng, staging peak duels.
“Before, watching matches on TV, I only focused on winning or losing; only at the scene did I truly realize that the charm of sports lies not only in winning crowns but also in the tenacity shown by athletes in every save and counterattack.”Liu Ziyi, a faculty member of the Faculty of Materials Science and Energy Engineering, expressed emotion after watching the competition live.
