On July 28,Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare Co., Ltd., to jointly build a practice teaching base, focusing on cultivating applied and innovative talents to meet industry development needs, providing students with practical opportunities in real work scenarios, and collaborating on technology research and development, achievement transformation, and employee training.

According to the agreement, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology undergraduates will visit United Imaging Healthcare annually for observation and internships to understand industry needs and cutting-edge information in related fields; both parties will jointly develop practice-oriented courses and share teaching staff; in terms of practical teaching, United Imaging Healthcare will provide relevant positions for Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology undergraduates and postgraduates; additionally, United Imaging Healthcare will support the career development of Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology students, such as providing internship-to-employment channels and engineers serving as part-time instructors.

Fan Jianping, President of Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology, pointed out that this signing is an important measure for the university to implement its strategy of deep industry-academia-research integration. By co-building a practice teaching base with United Imaging Healthcare, it can lay a solid foundation for undergraduate practical teaching and postgraduate joint training, which not only helps accelerate the university’s progress in talent cultivation and technological innovation but also delivers fresh talent with innovative thinking and practical skills to United Imaging Healthcare, ultimately achieving a win-win for the university, the company, and the students.

Xue Min, Chairman of United Imaging Group, stated that although Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology is a new research-oriented university established last year, it has already demonstrated strong capabilities in technological innovation and talent cultivation, hoping both parties will explore more cooperation possibilities in the future, jointly contributing to achieving high-level technological self-reliance and strength.
